Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Nivah Hostels ("Nivah"), a product of DChoiceCore Technologies Ltd, will process refunds for hostel bookings and related services. We are committed to treating all refund requests fairly and transparently.
2. Booking Cancellation by Student
Before Check-In

After Check-In
- No refund for the current billing period once you have checked in.
- No pro-rata refund for early departure, unless covered under Special Circumstances (Section 4).
3. Booking Cancellation by Nivah
Nivah may cancel a booking due to hostel closure, overbooking errors, or safety concerns. If cancelled through no fault of the student:
- A full 100% refund will be issued.
- We will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative room of equivalent standard.
If cancelled due to the student's violation of hostel rules, no refund will be issued.
4. Special Circumstances
Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for:
- Medical Emergency: A documented condition preventing residence. Medical certificate required.
- Academic Withdrawal: Official withdrawal from the institution. Registrar's letter required.
- Bereavement: Death of an immediate family member. Supporting documentation required.
- Safety Concerns: Documented safety issues that Nivah has failed to address.
Requests must be submitted within 14 days of the triggering event.
5. Inspection Fee Refunds
- Refundable if cancelled by Nivah or the field officer.
- Full refund if the student cancels at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.
- No-shows or late cancellations are non-refundable.
6. Wallet Refunds
- Wallet funds can be withdrawn at any time, subject to identity verification.
- Booking refunds are credited to your Nivah wallet by default.
- You may request a refund to your original payment method. Bank transfers may take 5–10 business days.
7. How to Request a Refund
- Log in and submit a cancellation request through the Platform, or
- Email support@nivah.org with your booking reference, reason, and supporting documents.
All requests are reviewed within 5 business days. You will receive an email with the outcome.
8. Refund Processing
- Card Payments: Refunded to the original card within 5–10 business days.
- Bank Transfers: Refunded to the originating account within 5–10 business days.
- Wallet Credits: Processed instantly.
9. Non-Refundable Items
- Administrative fees deducted from refunds.
- Maintenance charges for damage caused by the student.
- Penalty fees for hostel rule violations.
- Expired bookings not cancelled before check-in.
10. Disputes
- Reply to the refund decision email with additional information.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Material changes will be communicated via email.
